Linnea is an animation made from pictures of old school herbariums of Nordic Flora to honor the diversity of nothern nature. Constantly moving symmetrical formation remains also gothic rose windows. 

It´s has got inspiration from Carl von Linné (1707-1778) who can be regarded as the most significant Scandinavian-born scientist and physician having gained international recognition. He was born at a time when botany was part of medicine. He formalised binomial nomenclature, the modern system of naming organisms. He is known as the ”father of modern taxonomy”.
